NBA BasketBall Tickets

The National Basketball Association was founded in 1946. Through the years, the league has seen tremendous growth. This includes two teams that are located in Canada. Recruiting has also expanded globally. Currently there are 30 teams which are divided between two conferences. Each conference has three divisions with five teams assigned to each division.

There are a total of 82 regular season games. What follows the regular season is a playoff system that involves a total of 16 teams, 8 from each conference. The teams are seeded and play against each other in best-of-seven series. The winners of each conference play each other in what is the National Basketball Association's Championship, or title, game.

The current NBA commissioner is David Stern. He has been commissioner since 1984. The current defending NBA champions are the L.A. Lakers. The team with the most titles are the Boston Celtics with 17.
